Rajan Sataric will play for EHC Kloten next season.

EHC Kloten and the Rapperswil-Jona Lakers have traded players for next season in the National League. Defenseman Rajan Sataric will move from the Lakers to Kloten, while Luca Capaul, also a defenseman, will play for St. Gallen in the future.

Both players would have had one-season contracts with their clubs. However, this has now been resolved. Sataric in Kloten and Capaul with the Lakers signed a new two-year contract.

Tigers expand with Diem and Erni

The SCL Tigers are also reporting a team update. With Juuso Riikola, the Emmentalers have attracted a Finnish defender for next season in the National League.

The 29-year-old, who played a total of 80 NHL games for the Pittsburgh Penguins, was last under contract with IK Oskarshamn in Sweden. The Finnish international meets three compatriots in the Emmental: Vili Saarijärvi, Aleksi Saarela and Harri Pesonen. Two more foreign strikers are being sought in the coming months.

Center Nolan Diem and defender Samuel Erni, who have each extended their contracts for a year, will complete another season in Langnau. (cat/SDA)
