17-year-old Andrina Salis made it to the top 6 of the final of the women’s snowboard season in Silvaplana in her second World Cup attempt, trailing the podium by 25 points.

Olympic silver medalist Julia Marino from the US won ahead of Australia’s Tess Coady and Austria’s Anna Gasser. Marino also secures the crystal ball for winning the discipline ranking.

On Sunday, at the end of the World Cup season, the decision will be made by the men. Moritz Boll, Nicolas Huber and Moritz Thönen will reach the final of the top 16 on Saturday. (SDA/dti)
