The Galician slalom championship starts this Saturday in Monterros, with the tenth edition of the test that is already fully included in the regional calendar, organized by Mix Rallye Sports.
Finally, there will be 54 teams present in the city center to undergo technical and administrative checks starting at 8:00 a.m. at the Cafe Bar Bruselas and at the Cúpula de Monterroso, where there will also be a parc fermé where all fans will be able to see the vehicles that participate.
The route designed by Mix Rallye Sports will pass through different points of the urban center of the city, a technical route that will force the participants to use all their skills to record the best time in the two official rounds, which will start only after the only practice session, starting at 11 a.m. .
Among the entries are regular names in the specialty such as Manuel Trevin, third in the 2022 championship and second in the Monterroso slalom last year, or Iván Picall, who was fourth overall in the event. Regular players of the competition will also start, such as Miguel Ángel García, Fernando Sanmartín, Esteban Teijo or Sergio Fernández, among others.
In the two present cups, initial and beginner, as many as 14 and 9 registered, respectively, confirm the good health of the slalom modality. The announcement of the results is scheduled for 8:30 p.m., and the award ceremony in Cúpula de Monterroso at 9:15 p.m.
