Solleiro initially decided to study Law and Business administration, but in just three months he decided to leave it and switch to Physical Activity and Sports Sciences. “I told my parents; ‘This is not for me,’ he recalls. After he finished his college career — he got extraordinary award the completion of his degree at the University of Vigo and the end of Xunte’s career— 2021, in March 2022, he became part of the faculty of the San Paio de Tui Minor Seminary as a physical education teacher. “It was a new experience, which was not in my plan,” he recalls.

Solleiro, a lifelong native of Tudense, has always excelled in the academic field, in which he earned honors in the science matriculation he studied at IES San Paio. He graduated in physical activity and sports sciences at the University of Vigo, and earned a master’s degree at Prevention and adaptation from injuries in soccer from the University of Castilla-La Mancha/APF and a master’s degree in physical and sports performance from the University of Pablo de Olavide.

Until February of this year, he combined his duties as a physical and health education teacher with his work as a teacher personal trainer professional soccer players —specialized in strength training—. He also worked as a physical trainer and injury rehabilitator for Compostela and Porriño Industrial.
