The French Football Federation (FFF) decided on Thursday morning to end the collaboration with coach Corinne Diacre.
It’s a split with an announcement. Star player and captain Wendie Renard (32) announced last week that she would no longer play for France, unless the association makes the necessary changes. Two teammates followed her. All a few months before the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
Now the French federation has reacted and announces the immediate separation from Diacre shortly after Thursday afternoon. There is talk of an “unrepairable rift” between the players and the coach.
