Last weekend, a 24-year-old woman reported to the Paris police station, after which the Moroccan international Achraf Hakimi was interrogated.
The serious allegations: rape. It is now clear that Hakimi will be charged and placed under judicial supervision as a result. This is reported by the AFP news agency.
The alleged victim initially did not want to press charges, but because of the seriousness of the accusation, the public prosecutor’s office nevertheless took action.
He is not allowed to contact the alleged victim, but he is allowed to leave French territory. Hakimi was present at PSG’s training on Friday morning, Paris will play the eighth finals in Munich next Wednesday. The club has not yet responded to the allegations.
“We are taking note of the charges,” the woman’s lawyer told AFP: “My client stands by all these statements. She has chosen to speak only to the judiciary and does not want to disclose the case, mainly for her safety to protect.”
