The Spaniard finished the first day at -7 and is looking for his fourth PGA title so far in 2023.

Jon Rahm is unstoppable. After adding his third PGA Tour tournament so far in 2023 just two weeks ago, the Spaniard gave a recital on the first day of the Arnold Palmer Invitational. With a devastating start (three birdies on the first three holes), he signed an unforgettable end of the round in which he combined an eagle and two more birdies in the last three rounds. Rahm wowed the fans in Florida, finishing with a 7-under 65. Jon leads by two strokes over Kurt Kitayama, Chris Kirk and Cameron Young.

One of Arnold Palmer’s great rivals for the title, Scottie Scheffler, the reigning champion and currently No. 2 in the world, finished the tour with 68 shots, three behind his head. The same baggage as other famous artists such as Jordan Spieth, Xander Schauffele, Patrick Cantlay and Rickie Fowler.

Further behind them are the favorites like Tony Finau (-2), Max Home (-2) and the most miserable Rory McIlroy (+1).

The second day takes place this Friday from 1:30 p.m. (Movistar Golf) and until midnight.
