Fan chaos in St. Gallen: Due to riots between fans of St. Gallen and Lucerne in May 2023, the KKKPD decided to close the host sectors for direct matches this season. Away fans are not allowed – but the FCL Ultras are not sticking to that on Easter Monday.

Hundreds are traveling despite the ban and explicit warnings from the St. Gallen city police. They purchase tickets in advance in the adjacent sector B3, which is next to the guest sector.

But during the game the turning point comes: suddenly the guest sector – not the B sector – in St. Gallen becomes full. Blue and white supporters fill the stands. Blue smoke rises. Fireworks are being let off. It is not yet known how the FCL fans ended up in the closed sector.

There were already unpleasant incidents in St. Gallen on Monday evening: unknown fireworks were set off in front of the hotel where the FCL players were staying.
