A month ago, Wendy Holdener’s brother Kevin lost his battle with cancer. “Unfortunately, his superpowers have diminished,” the ski star wrote on Instagram at the time.

A few days after the funeral, which took place in March, Wendy and friends fulfilled her beloved Kevin’s last wish. This is heliskiing that Wendy and friends did in Canada (Revelstoke). With heli-skiing you fly up a mountain in a helicopter and then ski down the valley in deep snow.

“We were never alone”

«The trip is booked for August 2023. “Kevin wanted us to fulfill his dream of heli-skiing,” the skier wrote on Instagram on Sunday, posting several photos of the snowy snowy landscape in Revelstoke.

One shows a photo of Kevin. In another you see a sign attached to a tree trunk. It reads: “In memory of Kevin.”

Holdener ends the message with heartwarming words. “We laughed, cried, hugged and skied together. Here too we laughed and ate together. But cried a little more.” But very important: “We were never alone when we missed Kevin.” (par)
