Baby happiness for two former ski racers. The American Resi Stiegler (38) and the German David Ketterer (30) announce the birth of their second daughter on Instagram. «Our little Romi was born on March 22. We are all in love and nestled in our cabin,” writes Resi Stiegler in a series of photos of the family’s youngest addition.
Below the post are numerous congratulations from the ski world. Julia Mancuso, Frida Hansdotter, Lindsey Vonn and Anna Veith, who recently became mothers for the second time, congratulate the couple.
Daughter Rosi (2) is already rushing down the slope
Resi Stiegler rode 178 World Cup races in her career, finished in the top 10 25 times and finished second on the slalom podium once. She eventually ended her career in March 2021. David Ketterer was also active as a slalom specialist at the World Cup. The German announced his resignation in April 2023. However, Ketterer never reached the podium in 45 races; his best finish is 18th place in the slalom.
Stiegler and Ketterer married in the summer of 2021. On February 7, 2022, daughter Rosi was born, who already received the ski gene from her parents. The firstborn was already skiing the slopes with her mother at the age of two. Now Rosi can look forward to a brother or sister.
