Bernt Haas must leave WG immediately.

Scared in Niederhasli. The German Stephan Schwarz (53) will be the new sports director at GC. This means that former sports director Bernt Haas (45) must leave the club immediately. The residents of Zurich announced this on their homepage on Wednesday.

Haas has been with GC since July 2022. According to the club, the decision was made “with the shared belief that this was the right step for the club.”

“We are pleased that we have been able to recruit an experienced football expert for the Grasshopper Club Zurich with Stephan Schwarz,” says Harald Gärtner, GC consultant and director of partner club LAFC.
