The Swiss figure skaters are not on course for a medal at the World Championships in Montreal. Livia Kaiser (19) is in 10th place after Wednesday’s short program, Kimmy Repond (17) is in 12th place.

With 64.05 points, Kaiser is already 9.5 points behind third-placed South Korean Hae-in Lee. Repond, winner of the European Championship bronze in Finland a year ago, is 10.91 points behind the podium.

For the decisive free skate on Friday, European champion Loena Hendrickx from Belgium (76.98) is in the lead ahead of the American Isabeau Levito (73.73). (SDA)
