Jérôme Bachofner (27) seemed to be an indispensable part of the ZSC Lions in the run-up to this season. And now it’s against the ZSC Lions in the quarter-finals of the play-offs. “It’s a special feeling, but the focus for me is to concentrate on our game, regardless of the opponent. Then everything will be fine,” Bachofner is convinced.
It is not yet 100 percent clear whether he can even participate in Game 1 on Saturday. In the decisive play-in game on Wednesday against Ambri (4:2), he heroically blocked a shot, but was hit in the hand by the puck. “It’s swollen, but it’s nothing serious and it will go away,” he believes. The man who was relegated from there absolutely does not want to miss these matches against the ZSC Lions.
