Futsal player Hovocubo keeps Barcelona half in Champions League
Hovocubo’s futsal players have started their Champions League week in Malta. They will play all three group games there this week, the first of which was lost 6-1 to defending champions FC Barcelona tonight.
The other opponents of the Dutch champions from Hoorn are Luxol St. Andrews from Malta (on Thursday) and the Slovenian Dobovec (on Saturday).
The top three of the four advance to the next group stage, from which the four winners advance to the Final Four. Last season, Hovocubo surprised with a performance in the round of 16 in Europe.
Bouyouzan makes 1-1
Hovocubo fought hard against Barcelona, especially in the first half. Lahcen Bouyouzan even made it 1-1. After a 2-1 half-time score, Barcelona distanced themselves from Hovocubo.
