Team UAE wins the Paris-Nice team time trial in Auxerre on Tuesday. Remco Evenepoel wins valuable seconds in the duel with Primoz Roglic in the 3rd stage.
The UAE benefits from dry terrain during the 26.9 kilometer time trial. João Almeida’s team wins with 15 seconds ahead of Jayco-AlUla and 20 seconds ahead of EF Education with the Swiss Stefan Bissegger.
Evenepoel’s reserve against Roglic
The Soudal-Quick Step team of Remco Evenepoel is in fourth place, 22 seconds behind and has to drive the last part on wet roads after a brief thunderstorm. The same goes for Primoz Roglic’s Bora-Hansgrohe racing team, which finished 54 seconds behind. The Swiss professional team Tudor, led by Fabian Cancellara, loses 1:12 minutes to the winning team.
