It is September in the Corona year 2020. The name Silvan Hefti (26) heats the minds of people in Eastern Switzerland. He is even confronted with pure hatred. The reason? His transfer as captain from number two St. Gallen to champion YB. A no-go for many Aspen fans. After all, with Hefti not only an identifying figure has left, but also one of the most talented right backs in Switzerland.
Hefti’s main reason for the move is that he sees greater opportunities in Bern to force his way into the national team. But the plan didn’t work. That can be said today.
