Dominique Aegerter can be satisfied with his start to the season.

Despite a difficult preparation, Dominique Aegerter finished 6th in the first race of the Superbike World Championship in Australia.

In sixth place, Aegerter is the second best Yamaha rider on the circuit at Phillip Island near Melbourne. The 33-year-old from Bern did not have the best winter break. He missed four of the five days of testing due to a viral infection.
