Valencia’s football players will not be in action this weekend.

The fire in an apartment building in Valencia that left at least four dead and fourteen missing has had an impact on the match calendar of the Spanish football championship. The La Liga match scheduled for Saturday between the penultimate Granada and Valencia FC was postponed by the league at the request of the guests.

The match between second division club Levante and FC Andorra scheduled for the same day is also cancelled. No catch-up dates have been set yet.
