Gregor Deschwanden and Remo Imhof cannot keep up with the best at the start of the ski flying weekend in Oberstdorf. The Swiss duo finished 10th in the super team competition.
The Slovenian duo Timi Zajc and Domen Prevc secured the victory ahead of the Norwegians Johann André Forfang and Kristoffer Eriksen Sundal. Third place goes to the Austrians Stefan Kraft and Michael Hayböck. Hayböck achieved the longest flight of the competition with a jump of 235 m. For the Swiss team, only Deschwanden’s second jump of 201.5 m exceeds the 200 m mark.
Because two test jumps for the weekend’s two individual competitions were made up on the same day, the competition included only two jumps per athlete. (SDA)
