Dominating the cross-country skiing scene for years: Therese Johaug.

It is the first competition in almost two years for the four-time Olympic champion and fourteen-time world champion. Ten months ago, Johaug became the mother of a daughter. The 35-year-old Norwegian is keen to test her form during the Engadin Women’s Run, which takes place as part of the Engadin Marathon Week and runs over 17 km from Samedan to S-chan.

The Nordic World Ski Championships will take place in Trondheim, Norway in 2025. Norwegian media have long speculated that Johaug wants to flee there. The athlete’s immediate environment does not yet want to commit to this, but does not deny such intentions either. (SDA)
