Marius Toscan, the only Swiss to participate in the 50 meter pool on the last day of the World Championships in Doha, is, as expected, eliminated from the heats of the 400 meter medley.

The 22-year-old from eastern Switzerland set the eleventh best time of 4:19.24 minutes, 0.44 seconds behind his best time, which he set in Sursee last December. Toscan is more than three seconds short of qualifying for the final of his second World Cup. (SDA)
