The four-time world curling champion led by Skip Silvana Tirinzoni won their fifth Swiss championship title in six years in Thônex GE, their fourth in a row. In the final they defeated Grasshopper Club led by Xenia Schwaller 5:4.
Before the final end, the favorites were 3:4 behind before Alina Pätz again showed strong nerves and secured the victory with a brilliant last stone. In addition to Tirinzoni and Pätz, Selina Witschonke and Carole Howald are also part of the CC Aarau team. (SDA)
