SC Bern and Andre Ebbett will go their separate ways at the end of the season. The successor has already been announced: Patrik Bärtschi will take over.
The fifth-placed team in the National League announced this on Thursday morning. After several discussions with sports director Martin Plüss, they came to the conclusion that the collaboration would not be continued: “We have long agreed that this decision makes sense for both parties,” quotes Plüss in the statement. Ebbett has done a lot for the SCB, but for the “sports strategic direction” it would be beneficial to “make adjustments to the position of sports director”.
