The European Football Union has confirmed the millions of euros in transfers for participants in the European Cup competitions. In total, the umbrella organization expects an annual turnover of 4.4 billion euros in 2027. The clubs in the reformed Champions League will receive 2.47 billion euros, 565 million euros will go to the clubs in the Europa League and 285 million euros to the participants in the Conference League. UEFA’s executive committee approved the corresponding decision in Paris on Wednesday.

Of the total income, 308 million euros in solidarity payments goes to non-qualified clubs and 132 million euros to the clubs eliminated in the qualifying phase. €25 million will be reserved for the Women’s Champions League and the Youth European Cup.

UEFA expects an increase in turnover

Compared to the current season, the exact distribution depends more on performance, and the share of money distributed equally among all participants also increases slightly. The calculation of the previous market pool, which is based on TV revenues in the countries, and the coefficient will be replaced by a division based on the value of the clubs. Details will be announced at a later date.
