Lore Hoffmann missed the Swiss indoor record for the 800 meters in Torun by just three hundredths.

In 2:00.41 minutes, the 27-year-old from Valais came within three hundredths of Selina Rutz-Büchel’s Swiss record. In the annual world best list, she is in sixth place as the second best European woman. (SDA)
