A year ago at the European Indoor Championships, Jason Joseph sprinted to gold in the 60 m hurdles.

In his first race of the season, Jason Joseph runs the eighth fastest time of his career in the 60 meter hurdles. The European indoor champion has never started the season so well. The 25-year-old from Basel beat the indoor World Cup limit by seven hundredths and took second place in the best list of the European season.

In the final, Joseph confirmed his performance from the preliminary round in 7.60 seconds. Next Saturday, Joseph will start again in Magglingen before taking on international competition for the first time in Paris a week later. (SDA)
