Too little snow: the men’s descents in Chamonix have been cancelled

Marco Odermatt and Co. will not race in Chamonix.

The bad weather sticks to the skis of the speed specialists. As the world association FIS announced on Saturday after the Garmisch descent, the two descents cannot take place next week. The reason: too little snow and the temperatures in Chamonix are too high.

The two races should have taken place on February 2 and 3. Finding a replacement location is not possible due to time constraints. As of today, the slalom is scheduled for Sunday.
