Germany celebrates a victory over Iceland at its own European Championship.

Germany has successfully started the European Championship main round. The host celebrates a hard-fought 26:24 win against Iceland. No team leads by more than two goals. Goalkeeper Andreas Wolff played a big role in the success, saving two penalties in the final four minutes and recording a total of twelve saves.

Austria continues to amaze, France beats Croatia

In the meantime, Austria continues to surprise. After a draw against Croatia (28:28) and eliminating Spain (33:33), coach Ales Pajovic’s team defeated Hungary with 30:29.
