Charlotte Lenherr in the saddle of Sir Stanley and Andrina Suter with Fibonacci achieved personal bests at the World Cup dressage test at the CHI Basel.

76,535 and 75,460 percentage points respectively resulted in an attractive 6th and 9th place for the Thurgau woman and the Schaffhauser woman in the Grand Prix Freestyle. Charlotta Rogerson finished eleventh with Famora after the favorite victory of the German Jessica von Bredow-Werndl with Dalera.

Team participation in the Olympic Games remains unclear

With a view to the Olympic Games in Paris, the Swiss women are competing for the only starting place in the individual for Swiss Equestrian. Switzerland missed qualifying with the team, but is now number 1 among the substitutes if there is a cancellation on February 5 – due to waiving or not meeting the minimum requirements.

The chances of getting a ticket for the team are difficult to estimate. Theoretically, Switzerland can even move up to the registration deadline on June 24. This case may arise if a team has to cancel the event due to injured horses. (SDA)
