In consultation with his doctors, Daum will go to Thailand in a few days to recover with ex-Bayer manager Reiner Calmund (75). There he enjoyed a bit of sun. “Such a change of scenery is absolutely good. “Seeing something different for a few days is very good for your psyche,” says Daum. Especially because the long-term treatment took its toll mentally. “I just commute between home and the university clinic,” says Daum. That already causes stress.
