Former Formula 1 driver Michael Schumacher turned 55 on January 3. And this just a few days after the tenth anniversary of his tragic skiing accident in the French Alps.
To mark his birthday, his children unwrapped souvenir photos from their childhood together. Daughter Gina (26) posts a photo of herself laughing radiantly in a cockpit with her brother Mick (24) and father Michael. “Looking back on one of the many of our adventurers,” she writes on Instagram – and wishes her father a happy birthday.

Mick also comes up with a moving post. He posts a photo from his childhood. He is wearing a racing helmet, sitting on a motorcycle and stretching his right thumb up. Beside him, Michael looks down proudly at his son. Mick also wishes his ‘dear father’ all the best and writes: ‘I love you.’
It is not surprising that there are no more recent recordings. The Formula 1 legend has not appeared in public since the serious crash in Méribel in 2013. There is still silence about his health. (Gentlemen)
