This year, Christmas is twice as much a celebration of love for Manuel Neuer (37): As the newspaper ‘Bild’ reports, the Bayern goalkeeper and his girlfriend Anika Bissel (23) got married last Sunday. The lightning ceremony lasted only 20 minutes. Anika took her husband’s name.
The wedding – she in a white wedding dress, he in a black suit – took place in Neuer’s hometown of Tegernsee. Only 20 guests from close family and friends were invited.
Special permit required
In order for the Neuers to tie the knot on Sunday, they needed special permission, which the Bayern star of course received.
This is Neuer’s second wedding after his marriage to Nina (2017 to 2020). He is now expecting his first child with handball player Anika in the spring. (cmu)
