The Swiss Football Association (SFV) and the Swiss Football League (SFL) will award prizes for the best players of the past year during the Swiss Football Night on January 15, 2024. All nominees in all seven categories have been known since Monday.
In addition to Granit De Geneve, who works for Burnley, scored six goals in ten games for the national team in 2023.
In the “Young Man 2023” category, Amdouni will again compete for the title with Fabian Rieder (21, Rennes) and Alvyn Sanches (20, Lausanne). The award for “Super League Player 2023” goes to Jean-Pierre Nsame (30, YB), Meschack Elia (26, YB) and Chris Bedia (27, Servette). In the Challenge League, Valon Fazliu (27, Aarau), Franck Surdez (21, Xamax) and Daniel Dos Santos (20, Thun) will compete for honors.
Three titles will be awarded in the women’s categories. Ramona Bachmann (32, PSG), Gaëlle Thalmann (37, end of career) and Lia Wälti (30, Arsenal) have been nominated for the “Female National Player 2023”. Iman Beney (17, YB), Sydney Schertenleib (16, GC) and Smilla Vallotto (19, Hammarby) compete for the “Youngster Female 2023” prize.
