Another comparison shows how dramatically business with consultants has developed. In 2014, the clubs paid agents $206.6 million. This means that expenditure has almost quadrupled in ten years.
Some earn a lot
These figures clearly show how important consultants are in today’s football world. It’s not just the money spent that proves this: FIFA only uses international transfers for its balance sheet. This year there were 3,353 deals. That is 8.4 percent more than last year.
