As a semi-finalist, Talina Gantenbein performed best in Arosa against the defeated Swiss.

The Swiss ski crossers have to accept disappointment in the home World Cup in Arosa. Talina Gantenbein is the only representative of the 17-member Swiss ski team to reach the semi-finals and finish sixth.

Fanny Smith was eliminated in the quarter-finals. For men the situation is even bleaker. Of the five Swiss who qualified for the knockout phase, only Alex Fiva survived the round of 16. But a round later it was over for him too.

The wins go to Canadian siblings Hannah Schmidt and Jared Schmidt. (SDA)
