The Citius meeting for athletics athletes in Bern will not take place next summer. The organizers say that a reorganization is necessary to “create a solid foundation both financially and in terms of personnel”.
The international meeting, which started in 2018, has produced a number of highlights in recent years. Last August, Ditaji Kambundji delivered a brilliant performance with two Swiss records in the 100 m hurdles in the Wankdorf athletics stadium.
The aim of the meeting is to return stronger after the break in 2025, director Matyas Kobrehel said in a video message. (SDA)
