Sixth best time for Djakovic

Antonio Djakovic is already in the final. In the preliminary stages of the 400m crawl, Djakovic of the Uster Swimming Club stayed three and a half seconds above his Swiss record from 2021. He qualified for the final with the sixth best time. Djakovic has also won medals in the 400m crawl. The 21-year-old won bronze at the 2021 World Championships in Abu Dhabi and even silver at the 2022 European Championships in Rome. The final starts shortly after 5pm on Tuesday.

Thierry Bollin (23) also qualified for the semi-finals of the 50 m backstroke in 23.64 seconds. Ten of the sixteen qualifiers for the semi-finals covered the 50 meters faster than Bollin, who remained 26 hundredths better than his Swiss record, which he set two weeks ago at the Swiss Championships in Uster.
