While the players chase the ball, the locker room is destroyed.

Disgusting surprise for the players of UHC Geneva on Saturday evening. The bottom of the 2nd league hosted Leader Eagles UHC Aigle. When the floorball players returned to their locker room after the second period, they found it in a terrible condition.

Their bags, coats and the floor: everything was smeared with feces and urine. The perpetrators also did not shy away from smearing a player’s car. The result? The Geneva players were shocked and refused to continue the game. After consultation with the referees, the match was stopped and the police were called. At this point Aigle was ahead 7:4.

Deepest disgust

Both teams responded to the incident on social media. Both Aigle and Geneva strongly condemned him. “We remind you that our players, like those of Aigle, are amateurs and that it is more than regrettable that individuals spoil a game with such a disgusting act,” the Genevans wrote.

The Aigle board apologizes to all involved and expresses its deepest disgust. “Every effort will be made to ensure that the perpetrators are punished.” In addition, measures will be taken to minimize the risk of further such incidents. “Since human stupidity is limitless, zero risk unfortunately cannot be guaranteed,” the statement continued.

It is still unclear how the match will be scored. That remains to be seen, as does the outcome of the police investigation. (beer)
