The match between FC Bayern Munich and Union Berlin in the Bundesliga on Saturday afternoon (3:30 PM) has been canceled. The Munich transport company announced this this morning. The reason for the cancellation is the onset of winter in southern Germany, which also causes heavy snowfall in the Munich area.
The Allianz Arena in Munich would be playable without any problems thanks to the grass heating. The cancellation of the match has nothing to do with the field, but rather with the arrival of the fans. In Munich, public transport is at a standstill until at least 12 noon.
