FCB striker Maurice Malone was injured in the cup match against Kriens and has since undergone surgery.

FC Basel will have to do without Maurice Malone (23) for “a few weeks”. The German, who came over from Austria this season, injured his meniscus in the cup match against Kriens in early November, FCB announced. After the necessary operation on his right knee, the striker now has to take a break.

Malone has played ten games for FCB so far, including the cup, and scored three goals. (SDA)
