Martin triumphs with a narrow lead over South African Brad Binder (KTM) and his compatriot Marc Marquez (Honda). In the general classification he reduced his lead over Italian World Cup leader Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati) by seven to 14 points.
The only thing left to do is the Valencia Grand Prix. If Martin wins the last race of the season in his home country on Sunday (start at 3 p.m.), Bagnaia will need at least a 5th place to become MotoGP world champion, just like last year. (SDA)
