On Sunday, the team from Geneva led by Skip Yannick Schwaller won from the Netherlands 8:4, after which the women’s team led by Skip Silvana Tirinzoni defeated the outsiders from Turkey 7:4. The four-time world champion from CC Aarau managed to pull away in the 5th end by stealing a stone and taking a 4-2 lead. With their third win in their third match, the Swiss are one step closer to their first goal: reaching the semi-finals.
