A horrible conclusion looms: another postponement for the women’s descent on the Matterhorn

The women’s descent was originally scheduled to start at 11:45 a.m. on Sunday. But again there is tension on the Matterhorn. It was clear early in the morning that there would be delays.

Skiers are allowed to visit the route from 10am. The start has been moved to 12:00. Will that happen?

There is a threat of absolute horror on the Matterhorn. Eight runs were planned for women and men in 2022 and 2023. So far none has been possible, only two training sessions have been possible. While last year there was not enough snow for the long-awaited speed opening, this year there was too much snow and especially too much wind.
