Jannik Sinner is the first Italian to reach the final of the ATP Finals.

Jannik Sinner (22) is the first finalist at the ATP Finals in Turin. In the semi-finals he defeated the Russian Daniil Medvedev (27) 6:3, 6:7 (4:7), 6:1. He is the first Italian ever to reach the final of the year-end tournament.

Despite the unfortunate loss of the second set, the fourth in the world rankings is not bothered. After two and a half hours, the 22-year-old scored his first match point.
