Lausanne-Ouchy marks the fourth coaching dismissal in the current Super League season. The newcomer separates himself from Anthony Braizat (46). After six games without a win in a row, the Frenchman has to pack his bags.
After fourteen rounds, SLO is in penultimate place in the Super League, two points ahead of FC Basel, which has already eliminated two coaches (Timo Schultz, Heiko Vogel). The fourth trainer who had to leave his place in the current season is Marco Schällibaum at Yverdon.
Braizat took over Lausanne-Ouchy in July 2022 and led them to the top flight with a victory in the Barrage against Sion. He was previously boss at Nyon for two and a half years. Braizat’s most successful time as a coach in terms of points was at Yverdon (2017-2019, 2.10 points per game).
The Super League newcomer has not yet communicated who will be the Frenchman’s successor.
