Coco Gauff starts the WTA Finals successfully.

There are two favorites to win on the second day of the WTA Finals in Cancun, Mexico. Poland’s Iga Swiatek (22, WTA 2) defeated Czech Wimbledon winner Marketa Vondrousova (24, WTA 6) after a 2:5 deficit 7:6 (7:3), 6:0.

The American US Open winner Coco Gauff (WTA 3) defeated the Tunisian Ons Jabeur (29, WTA 7) 6:0, 6:1. It is the 19-year-old’s 50th win of the season. There will be a match between Swiatek and Gauff on Wednesday local time. (SDA)
