Jorge Martin remains the sprint king in the MotoGP class. The Spaniard achieved his fifth victory in a row and his seventh overall in the short-distance race at the Thai Grand Prix.
Martin, who started from pole position, won in Buriram on a Ducati ahead of South African Brad Binder on a KTM and his Italian brand colleague Luca Marini.
With his new success, Martin manages to close the gap in the World Cup rankings as the first pursuer of the leading Italian Francesco Bagnaia, who finished seventh on Saturday. The gap, which grew to 27 points at the Australian Grand Prix last weekend, is 18 points. (SDA)
