FC Wil (black shirts) does not get off the ground and also loses to the promoted team from Baden.

Surprise in Wil. FC Baden won 1-0 thanks to a goal in the 30th minute from striker Davide Giampà. The promoted team has scored six times in the last seven games. In the meantime, dark clouds are gathering for the residents of Wil. It is already the fifth defeat in a row. In addition, the offensive is also on strike. They have now been waiting for the next goal for over seven hours.

The mood in Aarau is also gloomy. Coach Alex Frei’s team only managed a 1-1 draw against bottom team Schaffhausen. In Brügglifeld it looked for a long time that Aarau would have to leave the field as a loser. It wasn’t until the 85th minute that Nikola Gjorgjev scored the equalizer. The people from Aarau won only four of the twelve matches this season. Progress? He is currently far away in Aarau.

Sion climbs to the top of the table

FC Sion is again at the start of the 12th round in the Challenge League. The Valais won 1-0 at home against Neuchâtel Xamax in front of more than 7,000 fans. The decisive goal for Sion came in the 81st minute when Kevin Bua managed to beat Xamax goalkeeper Théo Guivarch.

It is the fourth victory in a row for coach Didier Tholot’s team, which means that Sion’s team has at least temporarily put a three-point lead between themselves and their first pursuers from Thun. The Bernese Oberlanders can get back on level terms with a win in the home match against Vaduz on Sunday. (Gentlemen)
