What is the name of the captain of the men’s handball team? Difficult question because: It is not Andy Schmid, the most famous player in Swiss handball. Six candidates were allowed to solve puzzles on board a new Mitsubishi Colt. In the end it was all about winning the various quiz duels – and ultimately being the winner. As an official sponsor of the Swiss Handball Federation, Mitsubishi invited people to this unique quiz.
The Quizmasters: six big names from Swiss handball. Sev Albrecht, Mia Emmenegger and Chantal Wick from the national women’s team. As well as Luka Maros, Mattia Mecenero and Mathieu Seravalli from various national men’s teams. A little tip: the correct answer to the opening question can be found under these names.
“Handball is an important part of my life”
The quiz participants all love handball. Benjamin Frey plays handball in the 4th class and also trains a U-17 handball team. For Stefan Gemperle, handball and his team are an important part of his life: “We play together, we train together, we go out together.” Astrid Hasler has not been involved in handball for the past twenty years, but has played for fifteen years.
All participants are ambitious. Michael Meus says clearly: “My goal is victory. I have prepared well.” All participants want to win the prize with a wellness weekend. This of course also includes a brand new Mitsubishi Colt for the return journey and for excursions.
But just as important to them is the experience of being at this event and experiencing something new. As well as getting to know the athletes of the national handball teams. During the meetings and the quiz itself, the participants were all very nervous, as you can clearly see in the video.
