Red heads in Wankdorf: YB was not awarded a penalty by referee Morten Krogh in the Champions League match against Manchester City (1:3), even though the ball ended up on Jack Grealish’s arm in the penalty area. The Italian Paolo Valeri, the VAR, also does not intervene or does not consider this action to be punishable.
If Danish Champions League debutant Krogh had decided on a penalty for YB in the 62nd minute, it would have been THE chance for the Swiss champions to make it 2-1 against the big favorites from England.
Special: Valeri orders Krogh to the sideline in the final phase while City celebrates the alleged 3-1 by joker Julian Alvarez. What is being checked is… an earlier handball from Jack Grealish.
